Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a FREE consultation and FREE session. This is where we can sit down and get to know eachother. We will gather information about your history and then move a little to test some mobility, flexibility, and some strength. This process allows us to feel more comfortable with eachother and helps me discover and express what the workoutswould look like for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer for four years. I’ve worked in many settings such as boot camps, stretch classes, dance classes, and one-on-one training sessions in which I specialize in now.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The prices vary per session depending on how often you come: 3x a week- $28, 2x a week- $35, 1x a week- $45. I also offer a buddy program which practically cuts the price in half.
How did you get started teaching?
I danced for 20 years and taught for four. I have a natural interest in how the body moves and how to get better at moving so I have gravitated towards what helps people live their best and healthiest life.
What types of students have you worked with?
Youth althletes, high school athletes, people who have never worked out before, people who want to maintain their strength and flexibility, people who need to lose weight, people who are post-pt patients, and also people who want to build muscle.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Feel free to come in for the consultation. You never know what you’ll like until you try it. I am no sales person but I feel like my service sells itself. Do you want to be healthier, do you want to lose weight and gain strength, do you want to move like you do today for the rest of your life? Then come in and see what’s it’s like before even purchasing!
