As a Yoga Therapist and Instructor, I teach people how to calm their nervous system, improve flexibility, balance, strength, and focus using an adaptive, customized approach. For each client, I develop a personalized program including yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation, to integrate the mind, body, the soul, and the spirit. I also advise in developing healthy nutrition and exercise programs.  I specialize in creating a kind, compassionate, and open-hearted experience for my clients, whether they are looking for an adaptive exercise program, or they seek relief from stress/anxiety, disabilities, injuries or other physical, mental, and emotional issues.  Private Yoga Lessons are offered for all levels of students, from complete beginners to advanced students and yoga teachers.  With an individually tailored program, clients progress continually – creating vibrant health and clarity of mind, while learning precise alignment and body wisdom. My teachings are deeply influenced by somatic experience, postural alignment, and yogic philosophies that enhance the quality enjoyment and of life. 

I myself have been on a life-long quest to become the best version of myself, and I was challenged to choose to let go of many deeply ingrained beliefs about my body, my mind, and  and my life.  As a result of many years on this quest,  I've become a certified IAYT Yoga Therapist , an E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, a Self-Mastery Coach, a Reiki Energy Master, and an Ordained Minister. I also hold certification in Applied Positive Psychology and Intuitive Spiritual Counseling,  and I blend these multiple disciplines to offer a practical, whole-being approach to healing and transformation that works. I know it works, because I was my own first successful client.

    Jenni is a stellar yoga instructor! She is quite versatile – I have enjoyed her gentle yoga classes as well as her more vigorous core awareness classes, and am always impressed with her ability to create the appropriate mood for each particular experience she crafts. Jenni's gentle yoga evening classes have been the perfect way to wind down. She keeps the pace gentle, yet even those who also practice in a more vigorous style will enjoy the chill vibe culminating with yoga nidra (deep relaxation) accompanied by Jenni's singing crystal bowl. (If you've never experienced shavasana surrounded by the healing vibrations emanating from a crystal bowl, this is an experience not to be missed!) Jenni's sequencing for her Core Awareness class can be challenging, but her ability to keep things flowing and coach you through with good humor means you'll land in shavasana with a sense of accomplishment! All in all, I most highly recommend experiencing your preferred style of yoga with Jenni!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I always begin with an initial phone call, free of charge, so that we can introduce ourselves, and so I can find out a little more about what is bringing you to yoga. If we decide we are a good fit, then I'll have you fill out a client intake form, so I can get better details on your needs, and we take it from there! For each client, I develop a personalized program, inlcuding yoga poses, breathing techniques, and medititation to introduce and develop the inner mind, body, soul, and spirit.  I also advise in creating healthy nutrition and exercise programs.  I faciliate a kind, judgment-free, and open-hearted experience for my students, helping them find their path and clarify their journey of becoming the best verson of themselves.
