Hes a lot of fun to work with! Im a song writer and our sessions were designed to give me a chord vocabulary I could then use to compose new materials with. Kevins direct approach saved me lots of time and money.

I studied with him a year ago. Im a singer and wanted to learn the basics so that I could accompany myself at local venues and open mics. He got me up to speed and taught me just what I needed to learn for the genre I sing.

I learned more in the first 4 lessons than I did in a year at my local music school. He really got me playing and moving forward. Hes a very patient instructor.

    Frequently asked questions

All new students contact me by phone where during our discussion I can learn more about the student's goals and experience. During the call, I am able to assess the student's curriculum needs and design their lesson plans.

The first session allows me to determine precisely the students level, ability, experience, and goals. All lessons are custom designed in a manner which works best for the student and are planned to get the best results toward achieving their goals.

I studied music at the Johnny Colon Music School and The Julliard Music School. I studied Art at Parsons School of Design and at The MET. I've been a certified personal trainer and self-defense instructor for 25 years.

Try to find a teacher whose goal is to teach you as much as you're able to effectively absorb and not one who is looking to "drag out lessons" in order to keep you long term because in the long run even if those lessons are priced much cheaper (you are actually paying a lot more when it all adds up.) You are investing in yourself so look for quality of instruction and results.
