About
With over two decades immersed in boxing and fitness, my journey has been a blend of athletic achievement, rigorous training, and a passion for coaching and developing fighters. My career began with six years of amateur boxing competition, a time that allowed me to hone my skills in the ring while developing a deep understanding of technique, strategy, and the discipline required to excel. This foundation built the way for my transition into the professional boxing arena, where I competed for eight years, gaining a wealth of experience and insight into the demands of high-level competition.
Throughout my years as a professional, I faced various opponents, each match contributing to a growing repertoire of strategies and an ever-deepening comprehension of the sport. These years weren’t just about fighting but about continuous learning, pushing my physical and mental limits, and understanding the nuances that separate good fighters from great ones. My dedication to perfecting the art and science of boxing has been the driving force behind my training, helping me to cultivate not just physical strength but also a sharp and resilient mind.
My evolution from competitor to coach was a natural progression, fueled by a desire to share the knowledge and expertise I had gathered. For the past 10 years, I’ve coached both boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA), where I’ve applied my hands-on experience to guide fighters in achieving their potential. Coaching has provided an avenue to craft training regimens tailored to individual needs, emphasizing strength, agility, technique, and the mental fortitude required in both sports.
For nine years, I operated my own gym, a space where athletes of all levels—from beginners to professionals—were nurtured, trained, and inspired. Managing my gym was more than a business endeavor; it was a mission to build a community that values hard work, discipline, and camaraderie. Running a gym required not only technical and physical training skills but also the ability to inspire and manage a team, creating an environment conducive to growth and peak performance. This experience has shaped me into a well-rounded coach, capable of guiding fighters through every stage of their development while instilling the values that make them not just skilled competitors but well-rounded athletes and individuals.
