Walker's Martial Arts and its owner Grandmaster W. S. Walker has provided Hapkido-Karate Martial Arts, Kickboxing and Fitness Instruction on the peninsula for 40 years. We are family owned and oriented. Working with members from age 4yrs to Adult. Providing Exceptional Training in Self-Defense, Competition and Fitness. Our programs are designed to give members the tools needed to achieve their ultimate goal. Small Groups, No Romper Room classes, No Video pop in's. Members will Develope Discipline, Self-Esteem, Confidence in an Educational environment. We have many programs to choose from. Lil Warriors, Jr. Warrior Black Belt, Adult Black Belt, Kickboxing and LOK-Fit Personalized Private Fitness Program. With WMA COVID-19 Protocol Procedures in place. All members can train with Confidence.
Teaching Martial Arts to Children and Adults is very rewarding. Helping individuals with their personal goals and watching them grow with tremendous confidence. Seeing the member succeed in obtaining their Degree in M.A. or Fitness. Being apart of our members growth is truly rewarding.

New inquires will receive a FREE COMP CLASS with membership interview and Appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master instructor in Martial Arts and Fitness with over 25yrs experience. WMA Assitant Program Director and Developer.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
At WMA we recommend the following in sesrch of a school. For martial art training i.e. karate etc.(1. Research the art. (2. Understand how long it takes to get a Degree in the style. That obtaining a degree is consistency and not over night. It is a commitment to both mental and physical training. (3. Understand the ranking and qualifications to promote any member in that style. (4. Does the school do Competition and Weapons training. Competition and weapons training is essential to the development of skills under pressure. This allows students to develop their skills, understand how to react with out emotions and utilize their training in a controlled environment. This is an important part of Martial Arts. (5. Observe classes look for (Over crowded mat) Romper Room martial arts. (6. Instructors certification and credibility. How many years training in that style. (7. Instructions by Video on the mat. Plugging in a video to watch and train for Instructions. (8. If your looking at Fitness Instruction. You should ask about the instructor's personal experience. (9. Does the program work? (10. Can the program be flexible with your personal goals and Fitness level? (11. Is the Academy/School family oriented (12. Is the school a Mc'dojo. hidden cost, hidden mark-ups, re-registration and rate increase to next belt. Look out and check for hidden fees or mark-ups.
