Influenced by my teachers, peers and my travels, I love to bring a unique sense of empowerment to each of my classes. Through intention, meditation, pranayama and asanas, my goal is to have my students leave each class feeling refreshed and renewed. I teach in a way that provokes thought and meaning through careful planning and assessment of each student and their specific needs. Yoga is an exchange of energy for the whole body and mind.  Honestly, nothing could be more rewarding to me than to help another person be and live their best life. As a yoga instructor, I strive to help beginner yogis feel comfortable in their practice, learn essential postures, implement pranayama breathing techniques, relaxation methods, all while ensuring a safe and benefical practice for my students.

Amy was amazing!! Very knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. I really enjoyed my private classes and even had my 9 and 5 year old join in. She was wonderful with them!! Patient and energetic! My kids a fun time and my back feels better 😊

Amy is such a passionate, and skilled Yogi. Through her yoga sequences, and breathing techniques I always walk away feeling aligned, free from anxiety and most importantly, free from pain. Yoga classes with her has really helped me with both my neck, and back issues. I recommend Amy no matter where you may be at with your yoga practice!

Ahead of our first session, I told Amy I had been diagnosed with a frozen shoulder and she researched how to approach our first yoga session. She intuitively guided me through the movements and left me with some poses I could take home. Within a month I could hold my arm above my head!

Everything! Amy is such a happy, smart person! She eludes fun, good energy and it flows freely from her to you! You cannot help but feel good, too! I’m in my mid-sixties, still working full time, but not much exercise in my daily routine. Amy has patiently and slowing taught me to do simple, but good poses for specific parts of the body that strengthen that area. She works with your particular needs as she knows everyone’s body is different! My shoulder and neck pain was chronic. Couldn’t sleep. Hurt all tgectime! With her techniques, working with me, that included modified poses and gentle chair yoga flow, I could not believe the difference in how my neck and shoulder felt. Before this, I could not raise my arm above my head without pain! Happy to say, I can now. And, no meds! Physical Therapy did not work, nor did Chiropractic care. I loved that she kept asking, if it hurts you to do a pose, don’t do it. Go as far as your own body will allow because Yoga should never hurt you. Amy took really good care of my personal ailments. We did yoga inside and outside in the sun where she would tell me to absorb all the energy from the big, beautiful sun. She’s really good! Her style is so beautifully unique. I love it! I highly, highly recommend Amy. You won’t be disappointed! I promise!
