Extreme Martial Arts Center aka EMAC is an unique Martial School devoted to teaching excellent traditional and Olympic Tae Kwon Do style as well as International Hap Ki Do.

EMAC is Kukkiwon certified and International Hap Ki Do certified being the only the only school in Wilmington North Carolina that teaches Olympic sparring and is associated with the USAT / government body for the Kukkiwon in the USA.

I have been practicing Tae kwon do for approximately 32 years. I enjoy teaching others and learning from others. I have competed Local tournaments as well as State Championship and Nationally. I enjoy challenges therefore I challenge my students all the time to be better and do better each time.

I motivate them and inspire them so they can become champions, but chapmions that other can look up to.

We offer a promotional rate of  $39.99 for one week including a uniform. They get to work out, learn basics. 

Students are placed with other students of same age, rank until they are ready to move up to other classes. 

I tried to show students the art of Tae kwon do as a use of everyday life by being a better person and seeing things that other dont see by training mind and body.

During the self defense and form classes, I teach as practial as it can be, so students can understand the difference of utilizing the technique. Therefore the students will build a good foundations and they can proceed forward. 

Price for classes are standar but likely to change with times. So please call for details.

As a student in Martial Arts, other instructors would always ask me to assist them teaching other students. Teaching others have made me a better martial artist all around.

All types of students. From severe ADHD to just plain problem childs (due to enviroment and parents). We teach special needs people as well.

I recently attended a tournament where all the proceeds were given to St. Judes Children Hospital.

Make sure they are what they are when they are telling you they are. Ask for Certificates, call for reference....

Have them participate in classes before you put them to teach a class. Be sure they are willing to teach what you want to teach your studens and not what they think is right.

And as a Instructor who is hiring the other instructor "Be open to new ideas" specially if the instructor you are hiring is younger. Sometimes it can help you grow.
