Being raised in Brasil and moving to New York 6 years ago, training Bjj since I'm 12 and various martial arts (taekwondo, Muay Thai and boxing), doing law school for 3 years and also being graduated in Theater and acting for film helped me see the world and the people living in it through different perspectives, understanding the other or at least trying to perceive his point of view, helped me how to communicate and interact with the most various personalities of people from all walks of life, which is vital for the optimal teaching/training experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Stretching and strengthening the body to enable it to execute the techniques that will be passed on, drilling the technique in a variety of scenarios, a bit of free sparring (depending on the level of the student) then we cool off with some more stretching and breathing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, almost 20 years of training.

Depends on the level of the student. Starting $75/hour(private class)
How did you get started teaching?
Naturally, as a brown belt, after almost 15 years of training.

From 65yo businessman to 20yo amateur fighters.
