About

Good evening, my name is Henry Rivers, Coach Nard. I have been coaching for 39 years in basketball ,football, baseball and track. I started training young kids in the Special Olympics as my first coaching job and my career expanded thereafter. Starting in Recreational sports league and moving to High school league. After running Sterret Hall Gym for 13 years, I went on to coach a Junior College, South Carolina Faith A&M for 4 years. We won a championship and two second place finish to the season. I also help started the very first college prep program out of Charleston, North Charleston Port City Academy. Helping a lot of kids with/without skills get recruited onto a college team. My model, Do you have heart and willing to train hard to improve your skill level in any sport? Anything is Possible no matter the experience, skill level, or age. Training ages start as young as 5 years old through adulthood training year-round. I make home visits as well as workout in the gym. Training consists of weight-lifting, functional, weight training, bodyweight exercise, and conditioning. I am a hard worker and I put my heart into everything that I do.
