Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first take the time to get to know my client so that we can build a relationship and be comfertable with one and other. Than we set goals both mentally and physically so that we know what we want to work towards. From there I will create specific workout programs for your needs and wants, making changes as we go. I will push you every day to be the best you that you can be!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always grown up playing sports, lifting weights, and doing cardio. Over time I developed a love for fitness as I personally lost 20 pounds and gained a great amount of muscle. I began working at Snap Fitness just about two years ago, and in time I became an ASFA Certified Personal Trainer and assistant manager of the gym.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Currently I am doing 4 hour sessions for $150 dollars. New Years specials are just around the corner so i like to discuss pricing invdividually!
How did you get started teaching?
I have always grown up playing sports, lifting weights, and doing cardio. Over time I developed a love for fitness as I personally lost 20 pounds and gained a great amount of muscle. I began working at Snap Fitness just about two years ago, and in time I became an ASFA Certified Personal Trainer and assistant manager of the gym. I want to help others meet any goals that they have while showing them how awesome fitness is and how much the body is capable of!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals from the age of 16 to 86. I have worked with clients who want to gain muscle mass, focus on endurance and weight training for college sports, cancer survivors, individuals who want to lose weight, tone, learn new things about the gym, and elderly individuals who want to gain muscle mass and bone density while staying active. I look forward to meeting new individuals and continuing to expand my clientel.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I personally run obstical races! I am fond of races and challanges where you can push your body to your limits and feel so satisfied after knowing that you did something that you may not have thought you could do.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest that you get to know your trainer on a personal level and make sure that your personalities match! It is important to feel comfertable around your trainer and like the way that they train. Enjoying time with your trainer will making sessions fun, benificial, and will keep you motviated to continue working hard and meet your goals!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? How motivated are you? When do you want to start? How much time are you willing to dedicate? Am i ready? And when you can answer each of these questions positively, you know you are ready! I would also suggest always asking questions even after you start your fitness journey, it is good to gain knowledge about fitness and know why you are doing what your trainer is having you do. Even if you are not 100% sure of getting a trainer, go in and talk to one, it cannot hurt anything!
