Reverence Music
About
I guide my students into an authentic relationship with music as a whole and how it pertains to their practical daily life to cultivate honesty and integrity as well and enjoyment with the ability to find fun in the most challenging aspects of life.
I teach a wide variety of instruments all of which I focus on nurturing a sense of self empowerment and purpose for being alive and the many possibilities to participate in an active way with in the subtle changes happening all the the time all around us in life to become the architect for ones perfect life here on Earth.
My background in teaching covers many different levels from tutoring little children to teaching yoga and martial arts to snowboarding and skiing. I have always had a love for music and was lucky to have many great teachers. It was very hard for me growing up to understand the way theory was written and translated in to the most subtle aspects of music and in facing this challenge I have developed a very simplistic and joyful way to approach understanding theory from a very practical place and have it working for you in no time. My style is non traditional to say the least I encourage the development of the ear of my students right from the beginning with dynamic ear training exercises that test and develop ones ability to listen on many different levels deeply to their environment as well as what is occuring within the different parts of the body. All of this translates to accelerated fluency in music and the ability to express in this dynamic language from an authentic place.
I have experience working with children as young as 5 and adults as old as 97. I have really built my life around offering something unique and fulfilling with regards to my approach to music and teaching that provides deep growing opportunities for the mind body and spirit not to mention learn an instrument at an accelerated rate.
I very much look forward to speaking with you and developing a unique strategy to assist you in making music a significant part of your life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I set up a discovery call to decide the specific tailored direction that we will move in based on the students needs aspirations and passions. If it feels like a good fit to work together we will build momentum in single month 3month six months and yearly intervals of time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am primarily self taught and classically trained through the support of teachers with a wide variety of backgrounds. My teaching style is built from a combination of experience with influencial musicians, teachers, performance, and patience.
I began playing music when I was 7 years old when I received my first classical guitar. I took my first formal lessons at the age of 15 where I began to focus on technique and effective physicality with my instrument to create the most effortless movement to achieve the best sound. By 18 I was writing my own music and performing in open mics and participating in songwriter's groups. At 21 I began organizing a non profit production company encouraging all people to be their best self at least once a month and bring it to a monthly event/variety show where the people are the performers and offer a platform for all to share their unique skillz and talents to build confidence and community engagement. All proceeds would go to providing music/art supplies and food goods for family's less fortunate. By 23 I met my fiancee Maria and got the opportunity to play music in Germany and Italy which changed my whole out look on music as the culture in Europe tends to encourage and value music as an important part of life.
