Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Interview, and orientation. All personal fitness clients are interviewed to assess their needs and we gain a better understanding of what the process is of how the work-outs are done. I do assessments of muscular skeletal system to look for muscle imbalances, and anything that may require program modifications to correct deficiencies and create Fitness Program designed for You! .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently updated my Certification Credentials back in December 2024 through NASM. I am a NASM CPT and I had been trained for Group Fitness Instruction since 2006 through AFAA. I have over 20 years of experience in fitness and over 10 years of experience working with clients of all ages.

How did you get started teaching?
I had been instructing since 2006 through 2012 on and off. I have been instructing on a regular basis since 2012. A now dear friend gave me the opportunity to instruct fitness at a Senior Lifestyle 55 and Over Community. Since then I had been committed to serving all age groups of various fitness levels.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have helped students of all ages, men, women, and even children, from the average, to the athlete. Especially endurance athletes (running).
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
On some occasions, I get to work with children. Last week on Christmas break I got to share 30 minutes of exercise with 8 children and two teachers from a day care program. We used exercise balls, mats, and worked in pairs. We did running, abs, and legs. They all left a very happy bunch of young people. I did it for smiles. it was priceless.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is great to have a main goal in mind that may seem grand. However break those goals down, go a little at a time. Have fun. Keep your Eyes on That Prize!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What your goals are. Please think it through and make your goals easy and attainable, for success breeds success. This is what creates the happiness in the journey to a main goal.
