Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I coach one on one and groups of up to 8 individuals. Ages 5 and up. I also do public speaking, volunteer events, non-profit work, school visits, hospital visits, golfing events, pregame speeches, film study, motivation talk and will coach sports outside of football as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. I am also a 5 year Nfl veteran with extensive knowledge in multiple sports including basketball/track& field. I am also Cross-Fit Level-1 certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices based on need of services and travel. I also do volunteer work as well including charity events.
How did you get started teaching?
I fell in love wit coaching through my younger brother who also played D1 football. I also went back to volunteer at my former high school. I have hosted many speaking events at a variety of grade schools in all types of neighborhoods. I also host and speak at youth camps on a regular basis.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with all ages and levels including middle, high school, collegiate and professional level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I still enjoy playing flag football and recreational basketball on a regular basis.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Pick whoever is right for you based on what your specific needs are. Always give your coach a chance to develop a good line of communication but don't be afraid to switch up coaches when its time for something new, you can always come back!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Just have a goal in mind and ask what you are willing to commit to and sacrifice to reach that goal. Ask yourself, what type of teacher/coach do I want to work with. .
