Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is, the new student has to fill out a Q&A about his or her health and fitness goals. We discuss fitness challeges they may be having or have had in the past. The student answers a series of health questions, body measurements, height, weight, body fat, the BMI is recorded, and finally pictures are taking to record a visual of where the client started. A progression chart is then created and followed until desired results are attained.

How did you get started teaching?
When I was ten years old my cousin bet me I could lift 50 lbs one time. I did and I didn't stop after that. I played football and basketball in high school and went to the Army. Fitness has always been a part of my life, but I injured my back while enlisted. I refused an operation and decided to rehab myself. The 1st Sergeant put me over the "Fat Boy" Program, responsible for assisting soldiers pass the Physical Aptitude Test. I was then 'bitten by the bug'. I absolutely loved training people. Seeing them go from no confidence to a building faith in themselves and what they were

Keep looking and ask questions!!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make sure they are dedicated to what he or she thinks he or she wants. Obtaining a desired goal takes time, effort and energy, so make sure you possess all three and then some.
