Hello, my name is Luis Cota. I am a retired professional baseball player and Certified Personal Trainer. I played professionally in the Kansas City Royals organization for 6 years from 2004-2010. During this time I was a top prospect and in 2005 was ranked the best fastball in the organization, was an all star in the Mid West League and named Pitcher Of The Year by the Kansas City Royals. In 2007 I received my first surgery with a second to follow in 2009. After long stents of rehab my dream of becoming a big leaguer was cut short. Since then, I have used my knowledge and professional experience as well as my personal training background to teach and develop young kids into better pitchers and all around better baseball players and athletes. Although my big league dream was cut short, my passion for the game remains. I look forward to working with you and help chase your big league dream.
As mentioned above, I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). If you have struggled or are struggling to find something that works for you and can't quite get it right or don't have the motivation or simply need someone to hold you accountable for your actions, I can help. I begin with an assessment of all my clients identifying imbalances you may have along with listening to what your goals may be. Based on your individual goals I will deaign a custom periodized training program specifically for you. Whether you are a begginner, intermediate or advanced when it comes to working out and are looking for help you have found the right trainer. I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds to include athletes.
Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing young kids develop and mature in their game. Seeing the excitement when they tell me how well they did in their last game, and knowing their hard work is paying off is priceless.
Helping individuals change their life for the better by helping them shed weight off and keep it off is what I strive for. Seeing my clients energy levels and confidence come back is more rewarding to me than anything else.
