About

I think my service stands out because I remember and relate to the struggle of learning and progressing my mind and my body at an older age. I didn't grow up an athlete. I didn't become great overnight. It is a process and some of what I teach is complicated and potentially dangerous. I take pride in my ability to communicate and demonstrate so that my students can continue to grow and improve without injury.

I love coaching! I love teaching! I love swimming, dancing and working out with my student friends. It just gives me life! I always feel accomplished when, through my guidance, your ah-ha moments happen and you grow, right before my eyes! So Satisfying!

    Frequently asked questions

I think assessing where a student is physically first is priority and understanding where they want to go with the lesson.

Then we can base the lesson around their current ability. Since I am providing one on one training customizing the plan per individual is required.

I have been a trained athlete for over 13 years and an instructor for 12 years. I coach, choreograph and train individuals and groups. I am certified in the following:

Pole dance, lyra, silk, pole flight, liquid motion, cardio barr, personal and group trainer, CPR, life guard and swim instruction.

    You are in great hands!

Private Lessons can range between $0 and $120/ per hour depending on the service. Discounts are based on number of lessons required. generally speaking I discount 10% on 6 lesson packages and 20% on larger packages such as 12 or 24 lessons. I also offer a scholarship program. Ask me about this if you need it.

I was getting married and I wanted to do something sexy for my honeymoon so I took a burlesque class which lead to me practicing pole for fitness and fun, which then lead to me teaching, competing professionaly and opening up my own studio. Who knew? LOL!

I work with the majority of women however I have taught both men and children. All shapes and sizes and every ability and lack of ability. No experience required! :)

I raise money for the American Cancer Society where I promote Dancing for the cause so we can donate for the cure! I love giving back!

Some instructors are like a video. They say watch me and see how I do it. Now its your turn. I think that is irresponsible. Your instructor should be able to explain to you what to expect, how you should feel and what body parts to focus on.

Some instructors do not warm a student up before teaching. Also not a good sign.

Some instructors think you should be able to climb a pole before you even know how to walk around it. Also, not a good sign.

If you have a need to dance that is all you really need. That said, if you have any learning disabilities or physical or health restrictions you will want to make sure the instructor understands and is knowledgeable to help you pass or avoid those hurdles.

You also want to think about the investment and be realistic about your expectations. Some students think they can get the hang of it quick because dancers make it look easy. But for 98% of student, even if they are super fit and strong it takes time for the ease to kick in.

So this means consider how many lessons and the amount of time/hours you want to spend. I recommend 3 sessions if you just want to experience it and see if you really like it.
