Ernie is the best! He got our son out of a hitting slump two years ago, and we have had lessons with him regularly with him since then. Weve seen nothing but improvements because of Ernie. He knows how to teach kids in a way that most parents and many coaches do not. He has really shaped our sons success in the game. Thank you, Ernie!

Knowledgeable staff who work great with kids. For years, Ernie has worked with my son and helped him develop the proper form and fundamental skills he takes to the field. His expertise and experience is impressive.

E29 has quality instructors in fielding, hitting, catching and off-season training. They are available everyday of the week and are easy to schedule. All of them are former players and coaches. Most of them are also teachers, which makes it easier for them to adapt to the player’s style and personality. We’ve been with E29 for 5 years now mainly with Ernie Ramirez but have been able to schedule with the majority of the other instructors when he has been gone. My son does catching lessons, with David Whittle a current D1 catcher at UCR and pitching lessons with Alec Aguayo a former U of R pitcher. We fully recommend E29 to anyone who wants their son or daughter to learn more about baseball or softball….with others you’d be jumping from facility to facility…E29 has it all under 1 roof.

They are all teachers which translates to an understanding of how to provide tailored instruction to each learning style. Ernie is so patient and encouraging. He knows when to push harder or back off when transitioning into something new. My son has grown so much over the past year.

Ernie has an amazing program and all of the coaches have so much baseball/softball knowledge. They focus on proper mechanics and building strong athletes. There is a coach for everyone. We love E29 Baseball and Softball, my daughter has been training with Ernie for over 7 years and now my son has started taking lessons.

    Frequently asked questions

Each player will receive an evaluation during the initial lesson. Our coaches will identify priority areas to focus on. During this time we will introduce basic skills and build a foundation of positive repetitions.

I have spent my entire life in the game of baseball. Playing and coaching at both the high school and college levels as well as being a National Scout for The Baseball Factory since 2002. I have had the privilege of evaluating over 10,000 players in the past 12 years. I’m addition to my baseball training background I have worked in the educational system with Special Education students for over 10 years.

Our coaches are independent contractors hired and trained personally by me. Each coach sets his pricing and availability. Our goal is to provide options 7days a week and a variety of hours!

I was fortunate to have been successful at the coaching level and building solid mentor relationships with my players. Through these relationships I would receive requests from parents to work individually with their players.  I started with 1 or 2 players on Sundays and evolved into a 6/7 day a week schedule with assistant coaches and training teams.

We offer training for players of all ages! We have first time students ages 6/7 to long time students who are Minor Leaguers and College athletes!

I would suggest a trainer that has a foundation! One that has children of their own. One that has practical knowledge of the sport you are working at. One that is available year round, not just seasonal. If you can find a trainer with an educational background helps to give them valuable insight to the various ways that students learn. A trainer that has worked with players from start to goal is crucial! You can’t really lead if you’ve never traveled the road!
