About this pro

-I've been playing golf for over 40 years and feel I've learned enough to properly pass on that knowledge through teaching the Whole Game. My life's goal was originally to become a PGA Touring Professional.

-I teach anywhere in Pima County (I'll come to you).

- After a classic schooling in the game of being taught separate shots and shot making, I realized that to truly play well (low scores), a systematic approach, scientific, if you will, is paramount to good scores through distinct combinations of shotmaking, human psychology and course managment, which took a lifetime to for me to learn in order for me to now describe

After your "mind's right" so to speak, it becomes a question of your ability to execute. Accordngly, physical fitness is then addressed, having also trained people in strength/endurance, and body sculpting programs.

-Essentially, you will be systematically introduced to every shot in the game beginning with the shortest (the 1 ft putt)and, step by step, to the longest (the drive from the tee box); 1st in the assessment (1st lesson) and then more intensely per lesson.

-The 1st lesson is introductory in its pricing, as I have you attempt a few of each shot, thereby designing a regimen I suggest you undertake, then with no obligation, take each lesson 1 at a time at your leisure. Its all about the individual's general golf goals...

My involvment in an industry based on ethics, being close to nature and helping interesting people all at the same time...

Rex was fun. Treated me with great respect, then pointed out what I couldn't know subjectivity concerning a faulty wrist break. I certainly wouldn't have thought that but a video showing it didn't lie. My hope is to take some of it on to the course where I know it will help!

    Very knowledgeable and skilled

Rex will definitely help your game in 1-2 lessons. In just one lesson i finally understand the correct way to putt. Best money ever spent on golf lessons. Rick M

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

-Lesson1; student assessment, goal setting, then measured for club fitting (swing speed, height (loft), grip size, etc.), the purchase and vendor of which is completely at the Student's discretion. If you are a beginner without clubs, I have complimentary extra clubs to use in your initial "appraisal."

-Lessons thereafter; custom fit to the above assessment, agreeable to the student, see pricing below...

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Amateur events, college qualifiers, junior tours, play throughout the lower 48+Hawaii, experiences of a lifetime applied to your objectives immediately.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

. Kids 14 and under 1st 3 lessons are free

. Adult Lesson 1; 1-2 hours, $*65.00, introductory

. Piece-meal Lessons $70.00 pr hour ; individual-specific...call for details.

How did you get started teaching?

Friend's and neighbors began asking for instruction with their games, improving all in the process...

What types of students have you worked with?

Children, girlfriends, movie producers, actors, Union Steelworkers, cab drivers, web designers, stock brokers, you name it, I've probably worked with them. I love Life and the people in it.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Ask him or her "How does one hit a low draw and when would you use that shot during play? ( a shot used in windy conditions moving at a low altitude and curving slightly right to left. This shot possess the least amount of backspin on the ball, imperative for maximum driving distance into the wind). Compare the answer to at least 3 potential tutors and then with the Golf Channel's site on shot instruction...this would be a minimal task, reflective on not so much their expertise in the swing, but more like what to expect in a teacher's "bedside manner" in future instruction..

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

List your goals, ask how to reach them.
