Grindstrong Training
About
Hey folks. My name is Cassanova Tiger. I’ve been. Football coach and training athletes for about 14 years now. Started when I was 18 and I’m 32 now. I am a personal trainer as well nasm certified. So I know how to connect with ppl especially youth athletes. I am a former college athlete as well I played at college of San Mateo and chabot City college. So I know what it’s like to be a student athlete as well. I have coach and train kids who are now playing college football. From division 1 to NAIA, and understand the process and qualifications needed athletically to get to the next level if that is the goal. But even if your goal is just to be the best athlete you can be. We can do that to. I love working with ppl and whatever goal you want to achieve it will be my pleasure to get you there. To grind is to do something repeatedly over and over to reach a goal. So whatever the goal I’m ready to grind with you. Let’s get to it.
The biggest enjoyment I get out of training is the fulfillment of helping someone reach their goals. Sometimes it’s something that a person didn’t think they could do. Some just need a boost to get over the hump. But whatever it is that is accomplished. It sets a tone. It breeds a culture of grinding. And that culture bleeds into the rest of your life.
I guess the bottom line is I love helping people change their lives for the better

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Step one we want to make sure you are medically ready to workout. So the first thing we will do is talk about medications, past injuries, any medical conditions etc.
Next we will talk about your workout/athletic history just to gauge the types of things you've done in the past(if any, it's ok if you haven't worked out before).
Last we will go through a movement assessment and workout. The first workout is very basic as I want to get a feel for where you are currently.
Finally, once the workout is complete we will have a conversation about your goals. And set a plan to execute and get you there.

How did you get started teaching?
I started out as a youth football coach. Coach my little brothers team. From there I continued even after he was done playing.
After getting an opportunity to coach highschool. I decided to put myself into the world of fitness and became a personal trainer.
Ive been a trainer for over 2 years now. I started out at city sports where worked with about 23 clients per week. All with different fitness levels, goals, and body types.
I am now a fitness coach at Orangetheory Fitness. Which has shown me even more ways to workout and get you fit.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types of student . From athletes, to couples looking to get/stay fit together, to mom/dad looking to get back into shape. If you have a goal I can get you ther .
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love coaching at orangetheory. I chose this as a topic because, through my experience coaching there I am able to incorporate more interval training into the routine for those people who may need a big burn but not much time to get it done.
Interval training is great if you dont have a lot of time. Or if you just want to raise the intensity in you regular routine.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the trainer fits you and your goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why are you training? (I ask why because when it gets hard. Because it will. That why is going to push you through)
What are your goals?(in order to get somewhere you have to know where you are going. So set realistic goals. That way we can put together an accurate plan)
