My name is Reggie and I am the owner/ trainer of Fit to Go with Reg. I have been in the fitness industry for 30 years and a NSCA-CPT personal trainer/strength coach for 15. I graduated from L.I.U.Southampton College in New York with a B.A. Biology. My athletic background consists of: playing Div.1 baseball, Semi-Pro football, entered and placed in multiple USA Powerlifting competitions and I enjoy coaching on different levels.Fit to Go with Reg is unique because you can Train Where you Want. You can train at your home, FTG private one-on-one private studio or at a fitness facility of your choice.
When a person gives 100% per workout and achieves all their fitness goals that is the most rewarding experience a trainer can have.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session is a free consultation. During this time we review medical history, discuss setting goals, perform physical assessment, formulate a nutritional strategy, design fitness program, and schedule next session. Next session we implement fitness program and reevaluate every 2-4 weeks to be sure to achieve all goals set during initial consultation

How did you get started teaching?
I became a personal trainer to help people be motivated, give them a structured fitness program to follow and that promotes safety and correct form/technique.Lastly, provide the education to incorporate fitness into their lives forever to stay healthy and functional.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a trainer my advice is to review qualifications. They include education, experience, testimonials, credentials, and most of all personality or compatibility.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1) Goals- Think about goals you want to achieve before starting fitness program.
2) Time - schedule enough time to complete fitness program
3) Finances - how much should you spend depends on time to achieve goals
