About
i have been ISSA certified since 2008. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to begin at a boutique training studio with a well experienced mentor who saw something in me from the get-go. While learning the foundation, I began to cultivate my own unique brand of fitness. I incorporate elements from bodybuilding, functional fitness, kettlebell, TRX, yoga, and my own unique resistance band training with movements that are diverse, low impact, and fun! With this experience, i can customize a workout that suits your individual needs and goals. One thing you will ever be is bored!
I created a beautiful homegym in my basement with 3 different rooms, with everything you could possibly want and need! One room is conditioning themed with a countdown clock, battle ropes, kettlebells, medicine balls, rower and air bike and the other 2 rooms are weights and strength training equipment. I have some specialized machines that are designed to help safely build muscle while protecting your spine.
I also offer stretching/myofascial release to help improve mobility and flexibility.
I welcome anyone interested to come check out my facility and do a trial session with me. My pricing is flexible and I will do whatever I can to support you!
Fitness and nutrition are my absolute passion! I live by what I teach, and teach by what i live. I have a lot of enthusiasm because i enjoy training more and more as the years go by. I have helped people restore their best body, health, posture, and self worth. I have built strong friendships over the years with my loyal clients, and there is nothing more rewarding to me!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first session consists of a series of simple exercises that allow me to assess the strength, endurance, flexibility, form, and balance of the student. As we go through the session, I ask questions to help me better understand their specific needs. For the first few weeks, the level of intensity will gradually increase. I pay a lot of attention to which exercises the client enjoys most and which the client does not enjoy. 9 out of 10 times, i can find a variation or modification of each exercise to better suit their needs. At the end of the day, people are more likely to stay plugged in if they actually look forward to their next workout rather than dreading it!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through ISSA (International Sports Science Association) as a Master Personal Trainer. This means that I have 3 different specializations including Exercise Therapy and Certified Nutrition Coach. I also have a trigger point therapy certification through Neil Asher. I have attended many seminars and workshops, with decades of personal research.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing structure is dependent on how many sessions per week, and get paid at the beginning of each working week:
1 or 2 sessions per week: $60/ per session
3 sessions per week: $50/ session
5 sessions per week: $ 40/session
I allow make-up sessions for cancelations if scheduled within the same week.
How did you get started teaching?
While i was working as a counselor, i got into a bad car accident that injured my back. I ended up needing surgery and had to take time off from work. During the time, i was already really passionate about fitness and was really devostated by not being able to work out for a couple months. I decided to use this downtime to get my ISSA Personal Trainer certification and also learn everything I could about using exercise for rehabilitation. Once i was able to exercise again, i put all my focus into core and mobility training. This was a great teaching tool to train others with because I understood first hand how important it is to protect your spine.
Within my first year as a trainer, I developed a very solid foundation of loyal and satisfied clients.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with men, women, elderly, teenagers, professional athletes, people with zero experience, people rehabing their knees, people who needed to lose fat, people who needed to build muscle, amateur bodybuilders, amateur power lifters, and people who had nagging desk-posture.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try a few different instructors out before making your decision. Ask lots of questions, and pay attention to how you feel during and after each session. You need to feel comfortable with your trainer. If you ask questions and they seem to get annoyed, or they seem like they're not able to give an answer that makes sense, thats a bad sign. A real fitness professional should always be happy to answer questions, and if they don't have a good answer, they admit that they don't know rather than try and make something up to sound smart!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How long have you been in the industry?
Have you worked before with anyone else with my specific needs?
What kind of program would you have me do?
