I accumulated enough experience with the bigger Gyms to build a gym in the lower level of my home. I incorporated the pros and left the cons. This will save you money by not paying exorbitant gym fees while providing a more personal experience. I am thorough, meticulous, and take pride in everything I do. I pay attention to detail and put emphasis on good posture, proper breathing rhythm, strenthening your core, and muscle activation. To me exercise is part science and part art. If I had to describe my training style I would say that I use the progressive overload principle while incorporating functional movement patterns and techniques used in Pilates, and barre. This is why it's an art because once you understand the musculoskeletal mechanics you can orchestrate the symphony however you desire!

I love what I do! My life is definitely the old adage, "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life". Coaching is not a one size fits all. I'm not a trainer who mindlessly cranks out exercises. Each person has their own needs and it is my job to identify the weaknesses we all have individually by using corrective exercises. I very methodically create a strategy to safely help guide you to your goals. This is the part I love. The challenge.

    Frequently asked questions

    First I will collect information. Everything from your schedule, any medical issues, your daily habits or activities, what you like or dont like, your weaknessses, and your goals. We will go through a couple sessions, doing a lot of different exercises, a lot of strenth and conditioning while I am simultaniously collecting information on your likes, dislikes, taking note of any weakness, focusing on breathing rythm, posture, and muscle activation. Based on everything I gather, your likes, goals, etc, I will develop a personal plan specific to you.

    I have 5 years coaching and got my certification from The International Sports Sciences Association as a certified personal trainer.

    $40 hour session or I currently have a weekly rate of 4, 1hr sessions for $120. By committing to 4 sessions a week I give a discount.

    My whole life I was 120lbs, my diet sucked, and I was in general bad health. As I approached 30 I got up to 200lbs. I became depressed and developed low self esteem. Something had to change! I changed my relationship with food and began running and exercising. It became a lifestyle for me. Exercise benifits us more than just physically. It stimulates the body to produce endorphins and enkephalins, the bodys natural feel good hormones. It directly affects the brain by better blood supply that improves neuronal health by the delivery of oxygen and nutrients. So naturally as I began to look better and feel better my low self-esteem and depression faded. I became inspired. I knew if this worked for me it can work for anyone. People could really relate to someone like me. Initially I could not walk into a public gym, with all those skinny in shape people. Having a coach that I could go to his own private gym was instramental. He was as invested in my success as I.

    My youngest client was 19 and 30lbs overweight and my oldest was 67 and underweight so I have been everywhere in terms of adult clients. I love children but have not had the opportunity to work with children yet.
