About
Your workout is all about...YOU! Your goals, your mind, your body. Listening and adapting is a huge part of being a Personal Trainer because everyone’s bodies work differently. Paying close attention to your wants and needs is crucial for us to be able to work together and be a team.
I design custom workout plans for each individual based on a full body assessment done prior to your first session. I pay close attention to each client's goals and focus areas, and put together a thorough workout plan before each session to review with the client. This will allow us to track your progress, too!
"I don't sweat for pounds or inches, or dress size I sweat to make my outside match my inside." - Amber Dawn Hunter
Getting to know someone physically and sometimes emotionally during our 1-1 time together is a big part of this job and is why I love it. Developing safe relationships and being able to work together and lift each other up is what this is all about. The workout can be tough but I will talk you through it and point you in the right direction the entire time we have together. My purpose is to help you feel fulfilled and accomplished. Seeing others succeed and feel great about themselves is what drives me to work hard every day while doing what I love :) There are good days and bad days, but the only workout you will ever regret is the one you didn’t do!

How did you get started teaching?
I chose this career from true passion and desire to help others feel good about themselves, both inside and out. Prior to this, I sold software in the busy city life in Atlanta, Georgia. This career path was not focused on making a positive impact on the personal lives of others, but was more self-focused and goal oriented. While those were never my intentions at the time, looking back on it, I now feel that way. Having a job that isn't all about my accomplishments, my goals, hitting my monthly quota, etc has completely changed my outlook and attitude towards this precious life we have. It's about someone else feeling accomplished & stronger, both mentally and physically. To me, this what life is all about!
What types of students have you worked with?
Experience with Seniors, Special Needs, Depression, Anxiety, & Neurotypical.
