What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All clients need to build up a foundation or core strength and balalnce before we directly go after specific goals. Weight loss clients are taught that calorie intake is the primary way to lose weight and are instructed on how they can achieve that calorie deficit without losing their nutritional needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Exercise Biology from UC Davis. I have been working in the field for 10 years.

$65/session. Packages of 8+ sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
Right after college I wanted to work for myself. Personal training allowed for that growth to take place.
What types of students have you worked with?
8 years old to 86 years old. Goals ranging from weight loss, performance training for a specific fitness goal, and rehab.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Norm C., a client of mine for over 8 years is 79 years old and just broke his record for plank. His previous record was 5min 15 sec. and is now 6min 8sec.! Go Norm!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Meet with them before commiting to any purchase.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Training level, education, and does their philosophy of exercise allign with your own goals.
