Frequently asked questions

Typically I meet the client first for a free consult in order to assess their goals and be informed of any restrictions/injuries/physical limitations.  We would then come up with a strategy to implement the needed changes and set up the first session which would focus more on assessment of their current fitness level.

I started weight training in my early teens.  During college while earning my exercise science degree I was approached by several gym members to train them.  22 years later and I'm still doing what I love but now on a much larger scale.

I've had a wide range of clients, from professional athletes to those who have never exercised in their life.  Ages range from kids as young as 6 to adults as old as 84!

Daily events I enjoy seeing in my gyms are people improving with each workout and changing their lives for the better.

Experience and education matter!  There is a lot to learn and stay on top of in this field.

Also, choose someone who practices what they preach and can demonstrate what they want you to do.

Choose someone that can motivate you to do your best while also considering your fitness level.

Do they have experience with similar clients?  If so can you speak to their past and current clients?

How long have they been in this field?

Do they confer with other professionals when considering training methodologies and if you have specific needs can they call on others to help meet those needs if necessary?
