Emily has been working with my daughter for a while, and I couldn’t be happier. She is a great communicator and teacher. I can see improvement from my daughter after every lesson, and my daughter looks forward to working with her each week. I can’t recommend her enough!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Coach Emily: When working with a new client, I like to know their experience and background of softball or training. I love to hear my clients goals and help them reach those goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Coach Emily: I have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, a Master's in Management, and I am a certified strength and conditioning coach. I played collegiate softball at Central CT State University, and have been coaching and personal training for 8 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private/1-on-1 Sessions:

$95/45 min for personal training sessions
$65/30 min for private softball sessions
Group Rates: 2-4 people

How did you get started teaching?
After playing softball for so many years, and studying Exercise Science, I fell in love with the process of training and coaching others to reach their fitness and skill goals!
What types of students have you worked with?
The majority of my softball athletes have been in the 9-17 year old range. I coach at the high school level and 16U travel ball level, as well as run summer camps for youth softball players ages 6-16.
I worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Harvard University for 3 years, and at Newton Country Day High School for 4 years.
I have also trained adults 22-70 years old in both the group fitness and personal training setting!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you know what your goals are! If you are serious about being an elite level softball player, or, if you are playing softball simply because it is a fun pass-time, I can help you develop your skills either way! Knowing your goals helps me coach you in the correct direction!
