Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new client we go through what they are looking for and what their goal is.
I believe that everyone needs to have a goal to achieve it. At first you might not know what your goal is but we'll figure that out together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started tae kwon-do when I was five years old. Moved on to Boxing at the age of 14 then kickboxing thaiboxing grappling and MMA.
I lived in S. Korea for 2 1/2 years and Thailand for two study martial arts in both countries.
I've been teaching students for 23 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As far as the prices cost per session the first one is dramatically lower just so that we can get to know each other and that you know that you want to work with me.
After we come up with a plan, the pricing per session goes lower depending how many times you work with me for a week.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching clients after I won Tae Kwon Do nationals at the age of 17.
What types of students have you worked with?
The students that I've worked with throughout the years range from children to the elderly, the handicapped or people in perfect shape training for competition.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The only advice I can give about which teacher a student should choose is that after the first consultation you should feel that you trust yourself with that trainer and you trust that The trainer will get you to where you want to be.
