I have been Studying the following Arts; Japanese Jiu-jitsu, Okinawan Karate, Boxing, Kick Boxing and MMA for about 35 years. I am Licensed through The New Mexico Boxing Commission and USA Boxing. If you are just looking to get in shape or wanting to participate in live events I'm the man to train you.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start with the basics. First the proper and the reasoning of wrapping your hands. Then choosing the right equipment like boxing gloves, shoes and protective equipment. The basic movements of there feet and head. Finally the proper mechanics of punching.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started boxing when I was 7 years old. I am License through the NM Boxing Commission and USA Boxing.

$35.00 a month for the gym membership + $35.00 a month for the Boxing Class = $70.00 a month
How did you get started teaching?
I was told that I made a better coach the a fghter.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with a person that have never faught in there whole life (beginner)all the way to proffesional frghter (advance).
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The feeling they get after their first fight win or lose. The big smile and the since of achievement they have. I alway tell my fighters as soon the stepped into the ring I am so proud of them!! That takes a lot of heart to do that.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
What tell all new students that want to box is to look for coaches that will push them in a positive way at practice. Make sure its a safe environment and the coach is teaching how sportsmanship and not to be a bully.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
That boxing is whay they want and not there parents. If they can make all the schedule practices.
