Eric has over 20 years of martial arts and fitness experience. He is a 3rd Degree Blackbelt in Hawaiian Kempo under John Hackleman (Coach of Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell) and a 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt.
He currently owns and operates his mixed martial arts school, The Pit 702, and has been teaching consistently for nearly seven years.
Eric has instructed countless self defense and fitness lessons with individuals, small and large groups. He prides himself on tailoring only effective movements and techniques to his student's goals in a safe and attentive setting.

My youngest student is 4. My oldest was 65. I have worked with all fitness and skill levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
When my hyperactive 5 year old earned her belt first belt after 5 months of training. She's no longer hyperactive.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do you due diligence about the instructor's credentials. Website, Yelp, Social Media, etc.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why do you want to train? What has prevented you in the past? What is your schedule like so you will be consistent?
