About
I specialize in Kickboxing training using a very unique, fun, and effective method. It is all centered on the Heavy Bag, and the trainee can eventually use my System on their own once they learn it.
It's unique in that it fits both a brand new practitioner as well as a seasoned professional. Anyone can sign up at any level, go through the same exact program, and come out the other end thrilled. It's always a very very satisfying workout. You're using your entire body, all of your muscles are getting worked to the max, your core is getting an incredible workout, and you're building athleticism and coordination (as well as buring fat), but you're learning something too, so it keeps it interesting.
I enjoy helping trainees transform their lives thru kickboxing. I like awakening their interest in mixed martial arts, the art and science of combat, but more importantly awakening their belief in their own potential. All of the people that train for several months seem to feel like completely different people. It's a nice feeling being a catalyst for meaningful personal growth.
I also like being able to help people see themselves as "exercisers". It's so important for exercise to be part of our lifestyle. The more people I can recruit to see themselves as part of the exercisers the better! Teaching them HOW to exercise gives them the confidence to keep doing it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My personal training program is completely unique. I have a special system that uses kickboxing on a heavy bag as the core focus of our training sessions. My sessions are fun, great stress relief, burn fat, increase muscle tone and strengthen bones, strengthen abs and core, give you athleticism and coordination, increase your cardio-respiratory function, and you learn a valuable skill at the same time. Each session lasts about an hour. Please see my numerous personal testimonials from local clients! Many people do kickboxing, but nobody does it like this; my system is very unique and I will train you the EXACT way I train myself! Best of all: no bootcamp exercises! Hooray!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I used to own an LA Boxing franchise, now called "UFC GYM" in Orlando, FL for 3 years.
I was a certified boxing judge with USA Boxing.
I have held a Personal Training certificate from the International Sports Sciences Association.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are $75 per session. All trainings are private one-on-one sessions and very focused. I do not teach more than one person at a time.
Most of my trainees know for sure that this is exactly what they want to do before they even show up for their first lesson. They've been looking for training like this for a long time. However, some customers just aren't sure, and are hesitant to make a long-term committment. That's understandable. There are no "packages" you have to buy, and you never have to pay for future lessons up front.
It is simply $75 cash at the start of each session.
How did you get started teaching?
I started personal training by getting certified by the International Sports Science Association in the mid 1990's. I specialized in training people in proper weight training with free weights and machines. In 2005, I opened up a gym called "L.A. Boxing" which specialized in boxing, muay thai kickboxing, and weight lifting. Then I moved to Greenville and continued on perfecting a "Workout at Home" exercise regimen focusing on Kickboxing using the heavy bag. I designed the System just for myself, but soon discovered it was awesome at training clients. People loved it so much, that I stopped doing any other type of training and focused 100% on my Kickboxing Private Lessons. My main passion is to turn "non-exercisers" into "exercisers", and I love working with beginners, overweight, and those struggling and needing an awesome life change. I can certainly help provide that, and you will love it! Don't count yourself out: kickboxing is for YOU! Its my job to make you a believer!
What types of students have you worked with?
Middle and High school students, college students, housewives, blue and white collar workers, law enforcement officers and officials, etc. My clients are usually female. Females just seem to really love kickboxing (but I train them the exact same way I train a guy; no difference.)
I am very picky now about who I will train. Why? Because of my limited time and availability of training sessions. I usually take trainees who need a BIG change in their lives.
For the "fitness buff" who just wants to try something new, I don't really have time to take them in my schedule unfortunately, but do offer an "at home" program that is $99 that will give you my training system for you to use on your own. (It is for intermediate-advanced trainees only. You must know the kickboxing techniques.)
For my in-person trainees: you don't need to know a thing before you train with me. I'll teach you every single detail of everything you need to know!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A client who did 4 sessions per week with me for over a year called me just 2 days ago and told me how much he missed our training sessions, how important they were for him, how much he got out of them, and how his life is changed forever because of them.
That's a powerful testimonial!
Plus, he had to travel almost an hour each way just to see me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone with whom you are comfortable, that doesn't have an ego and like to intimidate or inflict pain (a bully), and someone who seems to really have your genuine interests at heart, not money.
They should also put SAFETY as paramount in their priorities. Some teachers pride themselves on how HARD they can push their students. This is ego, and foolishness. You do not want this, believe me. You won't grow; you will burn out.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I can't speak for other teachers, but with my program, you just have to come do it. We don't do an "inital session" or "goal setting" or "stepping on the scale and taking measurements", etc. All we do is train, and you get to "try on" the program and style of training.
We train the same formula every time with my System. It is composed of 10 Rounds of 5-minutes each. You will start on Workout #1, and the next time you show up, we do Workout #2, then Workout #3, etc.
Every time I workout, I do the EXACT same workouts that I'm taking you through. Every single time.
Both me, and my trainees, ALL train the same way, every time. I have perfected the System. It will be perfect for you. My job is to make sure of that.
