Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially we will talk goals, previous experiences, and barriers you've experienced. From there we game plan what we will work on, starting with foundation, building those abilities, and making constant progress. It will take time so we will enjoy every session and work hard. Everything else will fall right into place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Starting from 5 years old I played football and baseball all the way throughout High school. After that I had a hunger to push myself but didn't know in what direction. I began to lift weights everyday, it was my therapy, and it helped build my confidence, my mental state, and obviouly my health. I majored in Exercise Science at MTSU and began training in a newfound passion, MMA and Combat Sports. Beginning at 200 pounds at the end of 2018, I got down to, and competed in MMA at a weight of 155 pounds. I've trained and coached combat sports and weight training ever since.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My sessions start at a base price of 60$ for an hour session. Based on travel or session packages, I am flexible.
How did you get started teaching?
In the beginning of 2020, in the last semester of getting my degree, I began coaching at my MMA gym in Murfreesboro, TN. I tought weight-training / Kickboxing & Jiu-Jistu technique and cardio classes. I taught there for a few years and have transitioned from a gym setting to personal training setting.
