About this pro

I teachings involve focusing on the individual and seeing what works for them. Not only do I teach mixed martial arts but I focus on developing the mind as well. Having a strong mentality as well as physical training will determine one's success.

I enjoy working with both kids and adults. They both have their own approach to the meaning behind martial arts. Anytime you can practice your passion for a living is a blessing.

Seeing the spirit and strength endowed to my students grow as they develop is the greatest reward that any teacher can ask for. Knowing that beacuse of my work that many kids and teenagers will no longer have to go through life worried about being picked on as well, brings a smile to my face.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

1st step is to evaluating the student's current physical status, involving: coordination, flexibilty, strength, speed and reaction time. Afterwards, teaching the basics will catered to where the areas where most improvement is needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been training in Martial Arts for 10 years, I've won several tournaments in sparring and have been teaching for over 5 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

1 on 1 lessons will be $30 per week. $89 if paid for the month. (Up to $60 in savings!)

Our martial arts program held within the school involving the other enrolled students would be a seperate price. Contact me for more details:(817)-283-0223

How did you get started teaching?

I started training when I was a teenager and worked through the ranks. I started helping out in class when I joined a Leadership training class. After I obtained my black belt it wasnt too long until I worked part time as an assistant instructor. Several years later, I got an opportunity to train and teach full time and dedicatede my career to helping others find their innner strength and develop stronger and more focused people in our society.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've worked with everyone. Ranging from 4 years old to younger kids, adults and even those in their 60s. I've even helped out kids with special needs. Everyone has their own potential.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Just recently, I was a part of an elementary school Field day in which I had an oppotunity to be a rotating station for younger kids to practice their "Ninja Skills". The kids and parents had a blast and helped establish our business and place in the city of Bedford.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Be prepared to work hard and pratice through repitition. Muscle memory is core in martial arts training. Confidence and positivity will be one of the target points as you test and expand your body's limits.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

There are never any wrong questions, just be sure to understand what it is your aiming for. Anything involving mixed martial arts training will help with fitness but mostly cater to those who wish to learn true self-defense.

Those seeking only fitness and cardio may prefer a less intense Kickboxing program, which we offer seperately at our school. Contact me for more details!
