I believe in meeting each client where they are at in their wellness journey. There are many "one size fits all" approaches to fitness. I'm inspired by her path and commitment to helping me to achieve the vision I held for myself. With her guidance, my body has changed!! and I've shifted to a lifestyle change. It's been three years since we started working together (since I moved) and I have maintained my weight effortlessly with a nice body composition. I know a lot of people gained weight during the pandemic, but I didn't. By the grace of God, because understand my body now, what it needs, how to nourish it and the basic activities I can do to keep it looking the way I want it to be. Do yourself a favor and follow her guidelines on tracking your food. You'll learn so much, and it will serve you in the future. If I didn't move I'd still be working with Ruby. I KNOW she'd help me achieve my next fitness goal.

    Ruby has helped me a lot and I am very thankful I found her! I am in my 60s, overweight, and could not do things I wanted and needed to do. She has helped me lose weight and get stronger. For example, when I started with Ruby I was unable to paddleboard which is something I really wanted to do. I was not strong enough to pull myself up onto the board and even if I got on the board my balance was not good enough to stay on it. She worked with me on strength and balance and this summer I was able to paddleboard successfully. Ruby is ALWAYS punctual which has been important to me because the only time I could work out was during my lunch hour. She also has a very nice, pleasant personality and I am always glad to see her. Ruby is knowledgeable about nutrition and has helped me eat better and be more conscious of what and how much I eat. She has helped me many times with meal suggestions and recipes.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first step is a consultation to go over lifestyle, current activity level, nutrition, and goals. Depending on their goals, we develop a customized plan for them to help them efficiently reach their goals. Progress is tracked through weight, body fat measurements, and circumference measurements. 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

National Academy of Sports Medicine certified Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition Health Coach, Womens Fitness Specialist, MMA conditioning, Weightloss Specalist. Certified in Aerialates, TRX, Kettle Bells, TRX rip trainer.
