Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We often use a personal training method whether its 15 minutes for a Class Program or a Free Trial for our Circuit training. The Key is to establish correct form in both the skill and the exercises that are performed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a current USA Boxing Gym with both certified coaches and athletes. We also have personal trainers in Athletic Performance who are degreed in Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We are trying to bring the benifits of Boxing to the masses so we keep our prcing where it's accessable to all. Most Programs and Classes run as low as $30/mos with private training in the $40-$50range
How did you get started teaching?
I've been a coach for most of my youth and adult life in one capacity or another. Once I volunteered at a Boxing youth outreach program I was hooked.
What types of students have you worked with?
The widest gambit possible - From preteen fitness to Professional Atletes...
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just completed the Battle of Badges Boxing Event that raises money for Autism. Coached, Trained and Judged. Great Event.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your homework - - I see many individuals want to go from zero to hundred. Pick a trainer that suits you. You don't need a World Class Trainer to teach you the Basics.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
