I have personal trained, taught fitness classes, swim classes/water exercise classes, and coached swim team for 9 years. I also have a degree in health promotion and worked as a health and fitness specialist.
I enjoy teaching others how to properly exercise, live a healthy lifestyle, and how to swim. I have done it as a side job in addition to other full-time jobs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I like to learn everything I can about them--their likes, their dislikes, and their lifestyle so that I can make a healthy plan for them that fits them directly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Health Promotion. I have also had certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, and Water Safety Instruction. I myself have also competed in many running events including half marathons, 10k's, and 5k's.

Personal training:
30 minutes $25
60 minutes $45
Swim Lessons:
30 minutes $20

How did you get started teaching?
I was overweight and started suffering from high blood pressure at the age of 17 and had to be put on medication at 18. After a year or two on medication, I decided it was time to have a healthy start to adulthood and began working out and eating better. After that, I decided I wanted to do the same for others.
