Brian was my trainer. He was technically sound, motivated and helped me boost my strength, fitness and energy levels. I hated to see him go after my company moved to a new location and we took on a new fitness contractor. I would highly recommend him.

Brian was my personal trainer for over a year. He was always prompt and professional. The workout plan he developed for me was personal and helped me to become stronger and more fit. I highly recommend him for a similar role.

After training with Brian for over a year I have seen a complete transformation in my physique. The results have been amazing! I have lost over 20 pounds, but more importantly I have gained a newfound confidence! Brian goes above and beyond for his clients. Reviewing and recording workouts, taking into consideration previous injuries and building workouts to meet individual fitness goals can be attributed to my own success. His positive attitude and professionalism has motivated me to live a more health-conscious lifestyle. Taking the extra step to implement a personal trainer into my own fitness routines truly elevated my workouts and provided me a program that I intend to continue long into the future. If you want to get fit, learn about proper nutrition, and experience engaging and customized workouts, then Brian would be a perfect trainer for you!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken many courses in support of my chosen field of study in kinesiology (the study of human movement as it relates primarily to muscles) including exercise physiology, anatomy, sports nutrition, aging and nutrition, exercise for special populations, fitness assessment, biomechanics, and prevention and care of athletic injuries.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have been a nationally-credentialed Certified Personal Trainer since 2003 and was one of the first personal trainers to be hired by Stanford University in 2006.  I have trained Stanford University staff, faculty, and hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students from 2006 to 2015.  I am currently teaching fitness classes such as Total Body Fitness, Sports Conditioning, and HIIT for corporate employees of Valley Health Plan and teach Bootcamp classes at California Water Service and Palo Alto Networks in San Jose and Santa Clara, respectively.  In addition, I instruct periodic gym orientations for new community members and train clients at the Villages Golf and Country Club in San Jose.  I also provide home training for clients in the South Bay Area.
