Hello everyone!

My name is Bobby Hernandez. I'm a senior black belt instructor at ImpactfitnessLB Cardio Kickboxing &Martial Arts in Long Beach, Ca. I've been training people for the last 26 years in the Long Beach Area in Cardio Kickboxing (actual pad work, not punching into the air), kickboxing, Kenpo Karate, grappling, with the emphasis on fitness & self defense. I teach men/women of all levels of fitness/experience, and also train teens from age 12 and up. Workouts include(but are not limited to): kickboxing/pad work, cardio, HIIT - High intensity interval training, strength and conditioning, weights and more. Client sessions are tailored specifically to each client to match their current abilities, keeping any pre-existing issues including injuries in mind, and progress from there. Sessions can be 30 minutes or 1 hour, 1-5 times per week. My job is to work with each individual student/client to help them achieve their goals, and overcome their limitations by capitalizing on their strengths and building up their weaknesses. This is a passion for me, not merely a "job", and I look forward to working with you!

My biggest reward is seeing the positive changes this type of training brings to someones' life. I make it my mission to help each client meet and exceed their goals, becoming a better version of themselves. I am also very happy to see when all the effort my clients put into their training and the results they achieve, carry over positively into other areas of their lives.

    Bobby has been one of my two steady kickboxing instructors since 2002. I’m currently training privately with him. He’s an expert in this field. He will teach you proper form and technique (and much more) so you can advance as a kickboxer in addition to getting an amazing cardio workout. He has a medical background from the military so he knows the function of every muscle in the body. I highly recommend Bobby. He will not disappoint. Give him a try.

    Bobby is extremely knowledgeable about Kickboxing and strength training. He never lets me “slack” or give up because he knows I’m capable of everything he tells me to do. I may not like what I have to do, and I may whine and complain...but because of Bobby’s belief in me...I NEVER GIVE UP! And in the end I’m smiling from ear to ear!

    I’ve trained with many trainers over the years and Bobby is a rare find. His background in the medical field as well as double black belt in martial arts, all around athlete and military makes him literally the. Eat trainer I’ve ever worked with. He trained me on how to run trail Ragnar race with a leg injury. Normally I would have had to sit the race out but, he showed me how I was able to train to help heal the injury and also run the grueling trail race where I ended up cutting my time on all legs of the race including cutting my time in half on the toughest leg. He’s simply the best.

    Bobby is very professional, always punctual, and never misses a session. He is not a cookie cutter trainer and will design a workout to suit each individual to his/her ability, but will push you to achieve your goals. He is excellent at teaching proper form and no matter how many years you’ve been with him he remains engaged. He is also very good at revising, or finding alternative exercises to accommodate any injuries, aches or pains you may be experiencing. I have been had many trainers in my lifetime and I guarantee you will be hard pressed to find a better trainer than Bobby!
