My name is Pete Schaffer - everyone calls me Coach Pete - as the owner & head trainer at Team Healthy YOU I want to welcome you and feel confident that we can help you hit & exceed your goals in health and fitness !!
With over 10 years at a CPT and certified Health Coach I have seen many fads - diet & fitness and extreme programs that just don't work
We believe that your health & fitness is a lifelong journey and is about being balanced in that journey. Having friends - family - fun - adventures and celebrations are just as important as your health & fitness

Usually a 30 minute phone interview so we can both be sure it is the right fit

21 Day Online Boot Camp - $197 This 3 week program is designed for someone who has gotten off track with their health & fitness journey and wants & need to restart their journey or maybe find new direction with help - support and guidance of a seasoned trainer & nutritionist.
1 on 1 Fitness Training - $299/month
This is my most popular program !! This is a 3 month program that is great for people who have not worked out in awhile and are looking to lose those extra pounds and get back in shape!! This program includes 3 X 45 minutes workouts each week (new excerises each month) all exercises are individualized for YOU with your goals and obstacles in mind 4 X 15 minute 1 on 1's with me each week a basic meal plan personailized for you

Meal Planing with Coach Pete - $299/month
You can not out work a bad diet !! This is a 30 day meal designed with your goals in mind and what your likes and dislikes are There is guessing on what you shouldn't be eating and drinking You will be given the following each week for 4 weeks shopping list for all 21 meals of the week daily breakdown of macros / calories and sugar amount for each meal recipes - pictures ( I love pics) and step my step guide on how to prep and cook each meal again designed for you whether you are lactose intolerant - need things to be gluten free or low carbs or whatever - I can design your meal plan to meet those needs all the support - motivation and support you need
How did you get started teaching?
About 10 years I lost my dad to cancer and when I got home from the funeral I looked at myself in the mirror and saw that I was going down the same road,
I was 50 pounds overweight - could barely walk around the block and my eating habits were whatever the closest fast food place was.
It took me over a year to get back in shape - lose the weight and create better health & fitness habits.
I want to pass on my knowledge and my journey to others so they don't have to go through the pains I've endured
What types of students have you worked with?
I have helped all types of people - women - men - couples - wedding parties and people wanting to get healthy for a certain event or season.
The biggest joy I get as a trainer is seeing people accomplish things they never thought they could as well as reaching their goals

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just completed the San Diego Triathlon in March of this year - it was my first triathlon and a big accomplishment for me
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are ready to make a change. If you're not ready or don't have the time to invest in you you won't hit your goals no matter how great a trainer may be
