What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I firmly believe in a free consultation and free workout.  This is necessary so I can meet with you, listen to your goals and concerns and address them... AND provide a sample workout so you can experience my successful techniques in person and be assured you are making the right choice.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My education starts with El Comino Jr college, Long Beach state grad. I've worked for LA Fitness for 3yrs Bailey's for 2yrs, 24 hour fitness for 2yrs. I also started Blackshear fitness boot camps that grow to 6 boot camps 4 in Riverside Ca and 1 in Redondo Beach Ca. I also open a 20,000 sqft gym named Blackshear Fitness gym. I have 29yrs of experience in fitness. I love what I do and can't wait to see how many people I can help this year

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My pricing is based on the clients needs.  We do have a starting point of $50 a session but the scale can slid up or down or stay the same.  We give discounts for paid in full 1yr 6mons.

My pricing is very good and I will work with the client as best I can because I believe that personal training should be for everyone not just the super rich!

How did you get started teaching?

I was a high School and college athlete in the sports of Wrestling and Football. As I got older I saw how much working out and eating right help athlete's so I new how I could help others. I started out training athlete's for about 10 yrs and realized how the obesity was taking over the in the world. So I decided to start working with the general population. That lead to doing in home training for about 10yrs then I saw that if I started boot camps I could help a lot more people at one time. It has been so great working with all the clients so I opened up my gym.

What types of students have you worked with?

I specialize in the following but not limited to: - Weight/fat loss and muscle toning with a proven system. - Training and preparing clients to take and pass the physical tests for the FBI, Police Dept, Fire Dept and Military. - Strength and conditioning programs that will have you in shape for any sport. ***I also have one of the best bootcamps in the inland empire...***And I offer small group training with no more then three clients in a group-- its great to train with a friend and help keep each other on track. Our focus is on results no matter what the goals are. We work on body fat loss and building toned muscles

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I believe you should get a free consultation and workout with the trainer before you sign up so you know if you and that trainer will be able to work together. You will be working with this person 6 months or more.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

The only questions that a customers needs to think about is

1) am I willing to do what ever it takes to reach my goals?

2) am I willing to do the work it takes to reach my goals
