About
Hi, my name is Vy. I was born and raised in Southern Vietnam until I was 15 and immigrated to California in 2020. I speak English and Vietnamese, and I understand Korean and a little bit of Spanish. I'm currently based in San Jose, in the South Bay/Silicon Valley area.
I am pursuing a Nursing degree at Evergreen Valley College and am a certified personal trainer through ISSA. My additional certifications include CPR/AED, Sports Recovery Specialist, Nutritionist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Sports Coaching.
I am passionate about public health prevention and education, sports medicine, finance and entrepreneurship. My mission is to help you become the best version of yourself, not just through fitness, but also with nutritional guidance, recovery techniques (sleep, stress management, muscle recovery), and accountability during the first 66 days, until you're confident and comfortable doing it on your own.
My athletic background includes gymnastics, taekwondo, swimming, basketball, badminton, tennis, distance running, and cycling. I am also coaching high school’s varsity badminton and tennis teams.
I also have 3 years of experience working in senior living and memory care, supporting senior citizens since I was 18. Through their personal stories and life lessons, I've developed a deeper commitment to helping others live long, fulfilling lives – free from physical limitations, chronic diseases, memory or mental health issues later in life, and create great memories and build confidence in yourself. Regardless of where you are currently at, I love to help you with your personal fitness journey.
My services include:
Personal fitness training sessions
Strength & conditioning for specific sports & general health
Nutritional guidance
