I have been in fitness all of my life. I ran track for two D1 colleges where I recieved a full ride to both schools ,Washington State University and CAL State Northridge. I ran the 400 and 200 so i know all about building endurance and strength. I graduated from CAL State Northridge with a B.S in Kinesiology with an emphasis on sports studies. I trained a few of my friends during my time in school and when I seen there results and how it made me feel it made me want to train and help more individuals.
I moved back to the Bay area and immedaitely started training at city sports. I didn't care for how much they charged the clientele without offering them much other than a 30 minute training sesssion so I went into buisness for myself. Started fitbymi and having park classes and housecalls.
It was going well until COVID hit, my business took a hit, thank god I was working at Perform For Life in the city during the time. I continued to train the clients I built there virtually. I recently made my year mark there in Nov. 2020. However, Im back to building my clientele outside the gym. I'm located here in Hayward and I have a spot at a gym in San Leandro where I can take clients, I am also willing to take house calls depending on the distance.
I have my degree in Kinesiology, my TRX certification, Nutrition Cert, some continued education credits in core, kettle bell training, stretching, myofascial release, and functional aging. I have personally worked with two olympic coaches, trainging track athletes, and continuing my olympic lifting education. I am currently studying for my Strength and Conditioning cert, and saving up for my massage therapist training.

I don't have many followers or post too much but only becuase I am busy training clients and getting my fitness line going.
I enjoy getting people back to their healthier self. I don't want my clients focusing so much of their time and attention on their appearance but more so on how they feel. I enjoy watching people make their gains, and losses and to see the joy in their eyes knowing the work they are putting in is actually working.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First intial contact with a student is asking a lot of questions getting to excatly what you need from your training and trainer.
Then once a client has signed our first session will be an assessment to see how your body moves, any pain with movement, your range of motion, pattens and coordination. (If the client is on the fence I offer one of my saturday morning classes (when I'm having one) which is only $10 so people can get a trial run.
Now depending on the client, how they move, and their assessment depends on where they go next in the process whether thats hypertrohpy, body composistion, increasing range of motion, speed, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
TRX training, Kettle Bell training, Nutritional training, CPR/First Aid, Functional again training, etc!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary depending on what you're asking for but just to ball park.....
Virtual 1:1 $55 for 1 session
In person you meet me somewhere close $80
House Call depending on distance 110-130 (gas prices may vary)
Group bootcamp $99 a month (the months I am having them)
Again prices may vary when you guarantee multiple sessions a month (I come down on prices)
Inquire (because I do try to work with you)
How did you get started teaching?
I loved Antaomy in highschool, I was undecided my first year in college but I made sure take anatomy and Dr. Morgan took my love for the body to the next level. I ran track and on my free time here and there epscially during summer I would go to the gym with my non-active friends and get them moving and it made me feel good but it made them feel great so I kept going.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with plus size women and men. Teenagers who are sport specifc (mostly those increasing speed & strength nothing more). Those who are just trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. A few people working on hypertrophy, and some trying to just rid themselves of pain, or get their butts kicked brutally.
Predominantly Women!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My virtual saturday morning pop ups. I was surprised to see the turnouts I've been seeing because during this time I've noticed people saying they don't enjoy working out from home, but I still get few in class that don't mind it too much.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise to go after someone that actually has an education in dealing with the body vs. someone that just has a nice body and says they train. Make sure its someone that will take the time to keep educating herself/himself.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they want regarding their fitness? How much time are they are realistically willing to put towards your health? Group training vs. 1:1 ? Virtual vs in person? What amount can I realistically put towards my fitness goals? Am I willing to put in enough time to actually start seeing results?
