What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I start with a fitness consultation to discuss exactly what your fitness goals are to help me determine what fitness program you would be best suited for.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology

ACSM Certified Personal Trainer

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Pricing is dependent on the type of program participating in.

How did you get started teaching?

My passion for exercise and fitness started when I was young- I was an "interested in everything" athlete but fell in love with soccer! I went through some tough injuries in high school and college that gave me an appreciation for what the human body is capable of accomplishing!

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a variety of students but my specialty is the active aging population.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Well it would have to do anything with my 2 boys! They are your typical non-stop, hyper-active little boys who definitely keep me on my toes! But I love cultivating their active spirit and it keeps me motivated to maintain my own level of fitness!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would suggest getting a one on one meeting with the professional. Sometimes you have to go off the vibes you get from that person and see if their idealism works well with what you are truly looking for!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

My suggestions would be-

What are my exact fitness goals?

What do I need the most help with? (Exercise instruction, accountability, nutritional guidance, exercise knowledge, fitness community)

What kind of schedule can I commit to?
