About
Founded in 1989 by Grand Master Byun, Lions Taekwondo Academy, located in Sherman Oaks, CA and serving surrounding areas, has over 30 years of experience in Olympic style Taekwondo and Hapkido. The academy has trained students of varied ages and experience levels, earning a reputation as one of the top schools in the area. With over 1500 members and more than 300 black belt qualifiers, the Lions Team takes pride in empowering individuals through martial arts, building their confidence and skill set. The academy warmly welcomes students aged three and above, and adults at all experience levels.
