About

Being dual degreed and earning several fitness certifications, I can honestly offer my clients knoweldge and skills that many trainers can't. I have empathy, having endured many injuries/surgeries over the years, I undertsand the necessity of modifying activities for success. I also understand there is no cookbook approach to fitness. Personal training is just that, personal.

I enjoy seeing my clients progress in weight loss. I love hearing stories on how our exercises sessions helped them in daily life situations. I take before and during the journey pictures. Seeing the expressions when clients see side by side pictures is the most rewarding feeling. Whether it was weight loss or posture improvements, changing lives makes me happy and truly love what I do.

Share Kalkstein is very knowledgeable in her field of fitness training, especially for people who have physical problems (i.e. spinal and muscular) that can interfere with their fitness. She knows how to strengthen the specific parts of the body to compensate for and help us to heal.

I have used Shari on and off for about 8 years. She is an expert in the aging spine. I dont like to think of myself getting older, but Ive had numerous issues over the years (neck injury, alergies to meds that created havoc in my body) and most recently breast cancer with the side effects of lymphedema and neuropathy. I would only trust Shari to help me get back on my feet. She is an expert in not only making sure you dont hurt yourself, but in how to be the best you can be! Strong, balanced, and empowered to take on any problem. A number of years ago I sent my now 88 year old mom to Shari. Again, I wouldnt trust anybody else. Shari has made her stronger and helped her with many of her issues. I trust her - and so should you!

Shari is an amazing motivator. After several years of not exercising, due to a leg injury, Shari worked me up slowly. She was patient, but pushed when she thought I was ready. After assessing me completely, she knew what I was capable of better than I did. I found her to be an extremely knowledgeable individual. I would definitely recommend Shari Kalkstein to anyone of any and all fitness levels.

Shari is the most compassionate individual I know. She is extremely knowledgeable and very likable. I love that she doesnt play games, she is direct with her expectations, yet very encouraging. Shari has so many tools that every session offers new challenges. No need to look elsewhere, Shari is the trainer to go to, especially if you have any health related concerns.
