Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin with a complimentary in-person consultation to learn more about your fitness goals. This also allows you to learn more about us and get a feel for how we work with our clients. You also get a chance to see our private facility.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our trainers are either A.C.E. or NASM Certified. The owner is also nutritionally certified through the International Board of Nutritional Fitness Consultants as well as a Optavia Nutritional Health Coach.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our rates range from $49 to $74 per 45-minute private session and are dependent on the program specifics. Once we meet we are able to give you a better idea of the monthly investment. We accept VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX and DISCOVER credit cards.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all types of people, however the majority of our clients are interested in losing weight, increasing energy levels and feeling better about themselves.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your homework and research. Don't just settle on the least expensive trainer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The old saying "you get what you pay for" is very true in this business. Ask for references/reviews. Do they have a professional website? What are their certifications? Are they on Facebook? Do they have any formal nutritional training? Professional trainers that are serious about their business will carry general and professional liability insurance. Ask to see their current certificate. Don't be shy about asking these questions.
