From beginners to advanced level, I will help you build and refinine your BJJ gi and nogi skills, going over techniques rich in details! Be it for competition or your training routine, I will strive to make your jiu-jitsu experience as enjoyable and simple as possible.
I'm a 4th degree purple belt under Andre Maneco, from Soul Fighters Chicago.
I'm originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I began my jiu-jitsu journey in 2013, under Marcel Ribeiro in Sao Vicente city. Then, moved to Santos and trained there for a year under Renato Cardoso, who awarded me the blue belt. Moved to US in 2014 (to present date) to train with highly decorated 3rd degree black belt Andre Maneco, who awarded me the purple belt. With him I became 3x World Medalist, 2x American National champion, 5x Chicago Champion among other titles.
I enjoy seeing my students progress. I'm constantly working to improve my skills and bring the new and traditional techniques together, so my students get the best from both.

I go over a quick bjj experience questionnaire, so we only cover the most important techniques on the lessons. For instance, if a student has never done bjj before, we will go over basic concepts.
I've been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 5 years, professionally training/instructing since 2015. I finished my blue belt rank as #1 in the global rank in the year of 2016. As purple belt I've achieve 2 American National Titles, gi and nogi.
It varies from lesson type (basic, intermediate, advanced).
I started teaching in Chicago under Andre Maneco, instructing kids and beginners, then nogi classes (advanced).
I've been working with people that look for jiu-jitsu as a hobby, weigh loss to full-time competitors.
