About

I am an certified athletic trainer that works as independent contractor upon request. I provide sports coverage for any game, exhibition, league, camp, that may require medical assistance. Some roles and responsibilities of an athletic trainer includes:

Injury care, management, and prevention

Risk management (ensuring a safe playing environment, developing training and conditioning programs)

Conducting PPEs, injury evaluations and clinical diagnosis, referring to support services

Immediate care of injury and illiness

Treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning

Administrative duties and playing the Role of an educator, counselor, and more.

I am CPR certified, licensed athletic trainer, and currently studying to become an certified strength and conditioning coach. I can provide education in nutrition, health, and well being. I provide manual therapy services as well.

I do not only provide services to athletes. I am open to the general population for rehabilitation services. In the past I have worked with many patients who have had total joint replacements, ligamentous repairs and reconstruction, Chronic injury pain, and stroke patients.

Old age and arthritic bones getting to you? It's nothing a little exercise and strengthening won't help. With the right guidance and right rehabilitation program, we can help minimize that pain you may feel everyday.

Injured yourself and you are not sure if you should go to the doctor or not? I provide full clinical evaluation that will give you a good idea of what's going. I either make the decision to refer you based off what I find in my evaluation or I could give you education tips and a treatment/rehabilitation plan so you can recover and get back to normal life.

Home rehabilitation? Yes , I provide the services as well. Done with physical therapy and you want to keep up at home? I'm here to help!

Elders taking a lot of falls lately? As we age, our balance and equilibrium tends to get knocked off track. With the right rehabilitation program, this can easily be improved.

Frequently asked questions

The typical process depends on what the client/client is hiring me for. If I am hired for game/event coverage, I would show to the event and introduce myself to the host of the event, coaches, and referees. I will bring all medical supplies, including bandages, blood kit, athletic tape, ice, ice bags, etc. If I am hired for one on one services, the first meet/session is typically the longest. I would like to get a conversation going to learn about my patient, set goals, educate them a little further on as to how and why I could help them.

As previously mentioned, I have a Basic life support certification (CPR). I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer. I am able to make clinical diagnosis based off my findings during evaluations. I am able to diagnose, manage. And treat concussions. I have training in nutrition, however I do not specialize in it. I am trained in injury prevention which allows  me to do any tape job.

Event/game coverage: $30/hr

Full evaluation: $50 ( includes clinical diagnosis, injury education, referral if necessary , treatment tips, and the option to continue with a personalized rehabilitation plan)

Treatment/rehabilitation: $25/ hr long session advised to have at least 3 sessions per week

I started my athletic training career in 2018. I worked for Athletico physical therapy. I have gotten the experience of working alongside the Physical Therapists in the clinics. I have worked sporting events all around the Chicago area.

I have worked with just about every sport there is; girls and boys. I have also worked with all age populations. I have worked with kids as young as 4 years old and elders as old as 90 years old.
