Not only are we a 24/7 gym that potential clients can also have access to as a member, we are known in the Indianapolis community for being very open to all types of people and goals. We have QR codes on all our machines plus sample workouts readily available to teach anyone how to use new things or some new workouts to try!
The best part about our job is seeing how happy and excited our clients get about coming in and working out. Plus, when they see changes in their mood or any other changes they show up happy and motivated, which motivates us to keep giving them a great experience!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will bring them in to take a look at the facility, go over their goals and some nutrition/measurement things to get a baseline of where we are starting and then will also sign paperwork where they agree to a price that we talk about and then also a liability waiver to keep me and them safe.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The gym is owned and operated by Aaron and Dawson Blades, both graduates of Butler University. We graduated with a degree in Human Movement Health Science Education with the intent to pursue a Master's and potentially beyond. With a combined total of 8 years of training, we have serviced people from all walks of life either looking to add muscle or looking to be able to move/feel better. We both are competitors ourselves, where Aaron competes in powerlifting and Dawson does some running and powerlifting as well.

How did you get started teaching?
We both got started at Butler University through a program that they offered at the school in order to teach and prepare us to be personal trainers. From there, we were added on to the personal training staff and had worked there until we had graduated.
What types of students have you worked with?
We both have experience in weight loss, muscle building, running specific training, powerlifting, bodybuilding, functional movement, and many other things as well!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a trainer, people should always look for 2 things. You obviously want experience and educational background, but you also want someone personable and that is super friendly and upbeat and will listen to you. Working out may feel like a chore, so the personal trainer needs to be that person for you to pump you up and make you feel good! That is what we do!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? How long have you had these goals? What is your why, why personal training, and why now?
