    The first time I met Melany at a group fitness class, her enthusiasm, relational skills, and knowledge blew me away. When I was stuck at home during COVID, I needed someone to create an exercise program for me that could be done from home, yet still achieve my goals. Melany certainly delivered during the six months we worked together as I lost weight and fat, while gaining muscle. Throughout this time, she was teacher, coach, and cheerleader for me. Melany utilized an exercise application that features videos and instructions and allowed for workout feedback as well as touching base regularly via phone and text. She was also diligent in monitoring my nutrition and adjusting regularly to help me achieve my goals. As a bonus, throughout my journey Melany regularly sent educational and motivational material to keep me on track.     Mel is someone who will meet you where you are at, and be the push to get to your next level. Personally, I appreciated the way she challenged me and helping me find what I was capable of, and I have seen her coaching style vary based on what that person needs the most. Sometimes it’s just accountability and encouragement for showing up and she will never put you down. As a trainer, Mel understands how the body functions and is widely skilled in her knowledge with variety of exercises by muscle groups. Easily one of the best coaches I’ve been able to work with!

    I started teaching camps while in college. I fell in love with the growth in young individuals. Got more involved with coaching after college doing 1-on-1 lessons, coaching travel league teams, and a varsity HS team for 3 years. 

    Transitioned careers from physical therapy to personal training full time. Started working with all age groups.
