About

My name's Chris, great to meet you. I'm happy you're reading this and I hope we can become friends. My main goal here is to help you become healthier, lose fat, and feel like the lifestyle you have is your best.

I'm a 2x Tae Kwon Do Champion, American Ninja Warrior Athlete, Daily Burn Trainer, Adoptee Advocate, Social Media Influencer, and have gained, lost, and gained pounds of lean muscle & fat multiple times because sometimes life happens to us all. It's because of this diverse background I've been able to help hundreds of people like you lose body fat, gain lean muscle, and improve strength & mobility to become the best version of yourself.

I focus on talking about improving overall body composition while increasing lifestyle (you'll hear me say this word a lot) and athletic performance.

Point blank, I want to help you fight through all the BS in the heath & fitness industry and provide a approach that is specific for you.

If there's anything to rely on, it's normally there are two types of asians, either really skinny or big like Buddha. Rarely is there anything in between and I've dedicated my life to not only hacking my own body's genetic code, but helping others do the same.

If you have any other questions or want to inquire about becoming my next online coaching success, email me at [email protected]

What I enjoy most is being able to impact lives through health & fitness.

It's the gift that keeps on giving and is the natural fountain of youth. But most importantly, it can help support someone in more ways than just physically.

To literally see someone's mood, confidence, and outlook on life change through seeing themselves fulfill their own physical potential is invigorating.

Frequently asked questions

When I first start working with a new client, I like to find out what brought them to this point in the first place of needing a coach/trainer.

Aside from standard health/exercise history questions, I prefer to start out by learning about their personal life, occupation, hobbies, family life, etc.

This is because often times, the variables that affect people the most have less to do with what we put in to our bodies, but the external variables that affect the decisions we make that results in what we do with our bodies.

Once I have a full understanding of a person's particular lifestyle, then it's deciding if we are a good fit for each other. I would love to work and help everyone, but sometimes between need, schedule, and expertise, I don't mind refer out to other professionals in my network who could provide value

Then, if all checks out, we figure out if an In-Person or Online partnership would work best. If it's In-Person, we decide on the location (me going to them or vice versa) and scope of training depth. (Exercise, Nutrition, Rehab, Performanc Specific, etc.)

If it's online, I explain the options and services I provide as such and we decide frequency of communication based on this.

Finally, we begin working together, and build a fantastic professional partnership and friendship. I say friendship because I don't like to work with people for only several weeks at a time.

Health is an everyday commitment in some form and is ever changing, so I only work with clients if they are committed for the long term (Nothing less than 3 months, average 6-8 months or longer).

I have always been involved with athletics my entire life. I joke that basketball was my first love...at three years old.

After injures shortened my competitive Tae Kwon Do career, I decided to pursue a career as a fitness professional because it was only after I suffered multiple injuries that I started to appreciate my body.

I wanted to be able to help other achieve their body potential, and teach them how to unlock their own human potential.

I grew up watching athletes like Tom Brady & Kobe Bryant, not only loving them as athletes, but their dedication to their craft. It's this type of dedication I always try and do my best to emulate in my own profession because this is a service industry and I want to do all I can for those I serve.

I have and currently work with all types of clients.

- 12-18 year old young athletes

- Competitive athletes and fitness enthusiasts

- Newcomers to exercise just trying to learn how to use their body

- Working middle age men & women with families who may be short on time but want to feel like they did in their youth or better.

I actively volunteer at various adoption related events. I am adopted from Seoul, South Korea. So many events I am fond of are the ones much of my free time goes to. This being Culture Schools and Camps I am an active volunteer at.

The same advice I give everyone, whether I work with them or not, and that's to be open and understand that results and success often come slower than we'd prefer.

I won't sugar coat it, fitness can be simple, but it's not easy. Consistency is easy to talk about but can be hard to practice. And sometimes after a long day or work, especially if you have kids, the last thing you want to do at night is go exercise.

However, people often over-estimate what they can achieve in ONE month, and under-estimate what they can achieve in ONE year.

- Why am I doing this?

- Is there anything that could prevent me from continuing this decision after it's made?

- What are the obstacles that can come up once I start?

- Am I willing to learn and try new methods that I've never done before?

- Am I ready to commit to myself and have someone hold me accountable when needed?

- Do I have support in my life from the peopel closest to me?
